My take on a Dynavolt Tower Grixis Control deck. So far I haven't been able to test it out on a FNM event but hope to in a week or two.

A few of the concerns I currently have:

  • Will I be able to actually control, especially in the early stages of the game and against agressive decks? Move the 4th Fatal Push in from side to main? Swap 3+ CMC counter spells for 2 CMC counter spells? Add 2x Aether Poisoner to the side and swap them in against aggresive decks?
  • Is my card draw/cycling good enough? Swap in either or both of Jace, Unraveler of Secrets and Ob Nixilis Reignited to main? Add a 2nd and maybe even a 3rd Painful Truths.
  • The artifacts. Should I completely drop Dynavolt Tower or should I maybe add a fourth one. Will Deadlock Trap be worth it? Do I have to few artifacts to make it viable to run 3 Unlicensed Disintegration or should I maybe drop one or all?
  • Will Thing in the Ice   improve this deck or will it just make the deck to a little of everything ok and nothing good?
