Hello everybody, this is my take on a Gruul Landfall Commander. Since I built it, it has played out quite fine if not somewhat too strong. Once the engine is rolling, it is very hard for my opponents to keep up with the pace. If they do not have the removal for Omnath at hand when he enters the battlefield, it gets more and more difficult to deal with the impact he has. And even if they do, I normally am so far ahead on mana, that I may cast him repeatedly and pose a serious threat for quite some time.

I am always open to suggestions, but if card suggestions are made, please also post an idea of what to cut...

List of things to further think about: 1. More Sack-Outlets for the Elemental Tokens in order to trigger Omnath's Lightning Bolts.

Current Sack-Outlets: Perilous Forays

1. Swap some 6-Drops in Favor of some 4-Drops in order to smooth out the curve. Currently not an important issue, since I am able to ramp quite consistently by turn 2-3 and therefore jump to turn 5/6 manawise on turn 4. Needs to be monitored...

2. Maybe weaken the deck a little on purpose, reducing the competitiveness in favor of some fun for the whole table. Here I am open to suggestions considering what to swap out and in...

3. Commander Protection: Currently there is no protection for Omnath in the deck. Possibly swap out some cards in favor of Lightning Greaves , Swiftfoot Boots and/or Whispersilk Cloak . Another possibility would be Steely Resolve in order to protect my whole board.
