But a fun idea nonetheless.

It's fun and cheap but it is true that it pretty much only works once. As soon as they realize what it does they will find a way to stop it. Great for some Lols though.

Surely go up to 4 of each? Granted, it reduces how many lands you can rinse through, but you only need to get minimum 7 lands in order to be dealing lethal. As when I playtested, I went through about 7 sets of complete mulligans and then retrying before I even drew Countryside Crusher . I do love the idea though :-) +1

I agree with wreckedd though I still think the singleton of Fatal Frenzy is enough. You're going to get to it anyway, and all within a couple of turns.

Your odds are actually a little better than that since you can essentially mulligan 6 times and if you get the crusher in any of those hands (even if you draw it in a one card hand) you should still be able to draw the mountains you need to play him and get him down on turn 3.

Cool idea, try one Fling , and maybe one more wreckedd, another way that could work is instead of pump attack with, you could add 4 counters, so at each round you pump wreckedd with +1/+1 counters, and keep him safe for attacking with a the counter at your hand.

Maybe Sacred Foundry or Clifftop Retreat for Countryside Crusher + Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle + Planar Birth. That is all I can think of that wouldn't hinder that combo from going off.

The good news is this deck has more than a 11.7% chance of working, thanks to mulligans! With the Paris mulligan, you actually have a 38.6% chance to get Countryside Crusher in your starting hand. However, you're not going to lose on the first turn. (But you will lose quick with no creatures!) So I added in being able to draw three more times if the mulligan does not work before you lose. With these new odds you now have a 41.7% chance of winning. But this is without the fact that if Fatal Frenzy is right below in the deck, you won't get enough strength to win. Also if Fatal Frenzy is already in your hand then I don't know if Countryside Crusher 's effect forces you to deck out, or the effect just stops when you have no cards left. If the first one is true then the likelihood of pulling off Countryside Crusher 's effect before drawing Fatal Frenzy must be taken into account (which I am not doing). Also remember that your opponent could have something to take care of Countryside Crusher if it comes out. So with those factors to consider I'm recalculating your chances of winning to be 33.1% assuming your opponent has four cards in his/her deck to counter spells. (Of course this number can vary greatly from deck to deck.) So there's your math lesson for today and all in all a 1/3 chance of a guaranteed win every time is a pretty cool deck!
