this was a version of my very first deck and i have worked to cover its weaknesses and improve it from its original form and yet keeping it budget.

use your life as a resource, this deck likes to control in the early game but make big plays later game. refrain from using the burn spells to target the opponent themselves but instead to eliminate small creatures and keep plains walkers at bay with shock. use lava coil for larger threats and not early game on smaller creatures. ral, storm conduit should be used as early on as possible and stay on the field as he can constantly provide really big value throughout the game. to finish the game out, use crackling drake as by then the opponent should have expended most of their resources.
