So, I've not played the Modern format for a while, however the recent banning of Wrenn and Six in Legacy convinced me to revisit Valakut only to find that players haven't been playing the two mana walker in Valakut for a while. But, new cards and recent article from Ross Merriam have convinced me to take a second gander at Valakut as a deck in the current Modern Metagame. To this end, however, I have not got much further to say about the deck - due to my lack of experience with the deck and the wider current metagame.
