Just a fun spellslinging deck that wins through burn by drawing cards to trigger Niv Mizzet to burn the table. This is the first version of this build and this build is a work in progress at the moment. I don’t have curiosity, ophidian eye, Jace wielder of mysteries or lab man yet but they will be included once I’ve obtained them.I know that the mana base isn’t the greatest but it’s all I have bare with me lol.

The creatures are basically utility creatures that pair nicely with Niv Mizzet either by drawing cards or burning through casting instants and sorcery’s, I’m running dockside extortionist for mana ramp because let’s face it we’re in blue/red and ramp isn’t the greatest strong suit of colors for ramp but the deck does just fine through drawing the lands and ramp. I run scholar of ages and archaeomancer for graveyard recursion and abusing thassa, deep dwelling and essence flux for crazy graveyard shinanigans. The main goal for my build is to draw a bunch of cards off draw power cards to abuse Niv Mizzet’s draw trigger and burn through that. The planeswalkers are there for utility as well, Ral Zarek is fun because you can burn with it and I tap/untap things plus that ultimate ability is quite juicy. Narset,parter of veils is nice for digging deeper for your combo pieces, and saheeli, sublime artificer is nice for making chump blockers and turning them into my utility creatures. This deck has a few copying effects to maximize value like thousand year storm.

This deck as it sits is quite fun and I can’t wait to make upgrades to it to make it a proper spellslinger!!!
