Update #2 —May 27, 2019

Removed 3 Deafening Clarion from the main and 1 from the sideboard and replaced with Kaya's Wrath. Deafening Clarion isn't always a complete board wipe, whereas, Kaya's Wrath is. The mana base can handle the WWBB cost. My only concern is having to cast it a turn later than Deafening Clarion.

Removed 3 Dovin, Hand of Control and replaced with 3 Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage. I like Dovin, Rogue Shadowmage's ability to get rid cards from our opponent's hand and the static can do some extra damage.

Removed 1 Dreadhorde Invasion and replaced it with 1 Lava Coil. Having multiple copies of Dreadhorde Invasion in hand doesn't feel good and you don't want to have two on the battlefield either. There's also less life gain in the deck than there was originally, which makes playing Dreadhorde Invasion a little more risky.

Karn is definitely card draw and has that nice negative with those Karnstructs, so it would probably be good other than those Karnstructs being a problem with all your board wipes. Lol It's also important to note the difference in draw backs. Karn lets you get your opponent's choice of top two, which is a bad 2 deep search since you can simply get the silver countered card back the next turn. Chandra only gets the top 1, but it's a use it or lose it scenario since you only have one turn.

A bad version of The Elderspell is Settle the Score but I don't know if I'd recommend it. Also, Have you thought about Ignite the Beacon or Board the Weatherlight ?

I changed out Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord for Chandra, Fire Artisan . Mostly because I have Chandras, not necessarily because she’s better than Karn, Scion of Urza . I’d rather play Board the Weatherlight than Ignite the Beacon . I don’t know why, but I’m not a big fan of Ignite.

I really don’t feel that Dovin, Hand of Control is playable. I would prefer spot removal like Vraska's Contempt . He’s just so situational, and even when he’s doing what he’s supposed to be- he’s still not great. If you want a 3 drop walker in his place, I have found incredible success with Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage as he has single handedly won me the game against Control, slowed down Nexus enough for me to somehow beat their face in, and even strips aggro of a card or two before being taken down.

Also, with Oath of Kaya in the 3 drop removal slot, I would replace Deafening Clarion for Kaya's Wrath just for non-situational board clears.

Bit of something funny:

Isn't Board the Weatherlight just Commune with Planeswalkers? ( Commune with Dinosaurs , Commune with the Gods , Commune with Nature )

Isn't Ignite the Beacon just double Diabolic Tutor ?

This is a tap out control style deck. Most of the time you’re casting Ignite the Beacon you’re just going to wish it was any planeswalker. I don’t recommend it ever.
