No Electrostatic Pummeler? That seems like a good fit for this deck. Also, I think Aethertorch Renegade is better than Lightning Runner. A 2/2 for is just hard for me to get. Lightning Runner is awesome for limited (draft), but not so great in a regular deck. Too easily removed. I get why people like it, but it hardly sees play because it is so easily killed.

Interesting deck. Good luck with it!

Those are great suggestions. Thanks. I added them and on my first playtest Electrostatic Pummeler did 40 damage on turn six with trample.

You will definitely need a way to protect your Electrostatic Pummeler against removal. People will wait until you jack it way up with energy, then kill it with Murder or similar. Blossoming Defense is the most common way to protect it.

Larger Than Life is also a common element of these decks. Pumping the Electrostatic Pummeler before activating the energy means that you don't need to use as much energy to do far more damage. I have a "typical" version of this that may give you some ideas: R/G Energy Pummeler (budget)

I like the pummeler but I don't want my deck to rely on it so I am not going to add Larger Than Life however Blossoming Defense seems like it is worth a try.

What is Aethertide Whale for in the sideboard? You could probably lose the blue and get better mana as well as more sideboard space for things like Release the Gremlins, and maybe even Larger Than Life so that you have the option of pivoting into a pummeler deck. Just ideas :)
