$10* Burn (Casual MTG Deck)

This is the deck I brewed for a $10.00 tournament I am competing in with my play group. The main deck is aimed for 1v1 with the side boarded Experimental Frenzy there to swap out Landslide for the multiplayer portion of the tournament.

*Over time, the cards in this deck have shifted massively in price - particularly, the cost of Electrostatic Field (originally $.25), Rolling Earthquake (originally $.69), and Play with Fire (originally $.25) have since sky rocketed.

Re-Creating the Deck on Budget! — Oct. 10, 2021

As you might have noticed, this deck now costs $13-$19 now. Two cards in particular have gone up a tremendous amount over the last year: Electrostatic Field doubled in price while Rolling Earthquake tripled/quadrupled! However, because the rest of the deck has stayed roughly the same, it's actually fairly easy to recreate this on budget today. I found that if you simply replace Rolling Earthquake with regular ol' Earthquake and remove two copies of Electrostatic Field for two more Thermo-Alchemists, everything should still be less than $10 :)
