4/1 Showing after a bit of a Hiatus! —March 6, 2019

Phew, I'm gone for a short time and Phoenix decks are all the rage! Luckily, I didn't seem to have a problem with these decks and ended up outracing them unless they were able to drop double Phoenix turn one. I actually lost my one loss to Mono-Green Elves. So, seeing as I have problems with swarming, large creatures, I have decided to add 2 Anger of the Gods to my sideboard! My mainboard has seen some changes as well:

10-Bolt Wizards are still running strong! Ultimately, I have found Skewer the Critics to be way more consistent than Rift Bolt. It will still be swapped for Searing Blaze against aggro matchups, but I found this change to make my games run better!

I really enjoy Distortion Strike in my wizard deck. Def recommend it with rebound. Lets you get in. I also liked Spell Pierce

Haven't played with Mission Briefing yet def need to get some of them

Mission Briefing is a really spicy card and I kinda might even keep it there over Snapcaster Mage.

I had thought of putting a Spell Pierce in my sideboard, but I'm having some trouble finding a card to actually remove since they all function pretty well for different matchups.

was thinking 4Wizard's Retort in the side and 2 Spell Pierce in the main would be solid. Still going to recommend Distortion Strike with all of the Prowess, and going to get a couple hits in.

I would probably take out Ionize the 3 just feels too much here

And that is the difference in our playstyles. I like having the 3rd counter which is why I have kept it in.

I meant the 3 cost more than the amount of counters sorry for the miss type. the amount of counters is fine.
