I have been playing this deck on MTGO and on Arena for the past couple of months since the GRN release. I eventually wanted to get the cards in paper but I wanted to see what other people thought for suggestions.

Likes

The mana base seems really good even with all the shock/check lands.
Ral, Izzet Viceroy - Another big win condition that helps against just about everything.

Dislikes

Disinformation Campaign - This card on curve seems to be really weak. I would rather hold up a counter than play a random discard spell.
Doom Whisperer - This card dies to just about everything in the metagame. I would rather have the flash value of a Dream Eater
The mana curve has been working out despite it looking really bad. I don't know if a different draw spell like Discovery / Dispersal or Anticipate would be able to replace the power of Chemister's Insight
The above average average CMC [3.47] does seem to really hurt if you do not get to 6 mana on curve.
Lava Coil - Seems really nice for Wildgrowth Walker, Shalai, Voice of Plenty, and Rekindling Phoenix, but the lack of instant speed makes this not an option.

It seems against fast red aggro the deck needs to perform better. Sideboard I get to bring in alot of cheap removal to help but it seems like I might need more sweepers.

The field of ruins are nice but with the reduced amount of Search for Azcanta ^Flip I would rather have better mana fixing.

Nightveil Predator has been such an excellent card. It goes toe to toe with the green black decks that have been going around. I tested out Niv-Mizzet, Parun and it seems to be just as reliable.
