Designed to be a casual insect themed deck which generates massive armies with huge units. There are no combo's that instantly win the game, just the grind of building an army. The deck can also survive without casting Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, but the pace of it will be much slower.

The crown cards of this deck would be It That Betrays and Wave of Vitriol. With an amazing ability that supports Mazirek, the hefty $11 price of It That Betrays is worth it. In addition to being an decent board clear, casting Wave of Vitriol while having Mazirek on the field will significantly boost the power of your creatures. The dream is having Mazirek AND It that Betrays on the field when you cast Wave, then your opponents will have to deal with all their stuff being taken and having a massive board coming at them. But twelve mana is expensive to cast, however there are plenty of ways to cheat this cost. The most common one is to somehow get It that Betrays onto the field from the graveyard. And cards like Dread Return, Deadbridge Chant, Victimize, andWhisper, Blood Liturgist will help with that. We can also cheat the creature onto the field by means of hiding it under Mosswort Bridge. Or if we have enough eldrazi scions/spawns from From Beyond and Awakening Zone casting Kindred Summons will grab it from the library. But if grinding out the cost is the only way, sacrificing the scions/spawns from From Beyond and Awakening Zone or your creatures to card:Ashnod's Alter can pool the mana required to cast it.

Sacrifice outlets are everywhere in this deck. Some cards control the battlefield, like Butcher of Malakir, Dictate of Erebos, and Archfiend of Depravity, other cards draw more cards, like Greater Good and Izoni, Thousand-Eyed. But they require a sacrifice, Ant Queen, Broodhatch Nantuko, Living Hive, Hornet Nest, they all produce fodder that allows us to do all these things. And as a bonus, most of the token generators are insects themselves! Which is a nice fit to the theme.

But one of the glaring issues with this deck is the pace, playing against one opponent can be a struggle. It takes some time to get going, and you do need to draw the right cards in the right order. As with most decks, this one should be played in a group. If you're not the focus, it will allow some time to build your army. There are some ways to get lands onto the field, but since most of the creatures are cheap, mana shouldn't be an issue.

You can certainly make this a budget deck by taking out some really expensive cards, like Doubling Season, Jet Medallion, Ghoulcaller Gisa, Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury, Swarmyard, etc. For control, ramp, and card draw all in one creature, I would suggest putting in Priest of Forgotten Gods. This will be one that I will add to this deck in the near future.

All in all, this is supposed to be a fun casual deck with an insect theme with the goal of attacking your opponents with a large and overwhelming army.
