A beginning to a Modern (that will hopefully become Competitive) Combo deck based around Eldritch Evolution.

The goal is to play as an Elf deck with payoffs in creatures like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Iona, Shield of Emeria, Griselbrand, and/or Void Winnower and getting them onto the battlefield using Allosaurus Rider + Eldritch Evolution . Or sometimes just hard-casting those threats (except Griselbrand).

Sideboard:

• 3x Path to Exile; Removal.

• 1x Griselbrand; substitutes for Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite or Iona, Shield of Emeria when against an aggressive deck.

• 1x Kataki, War's Wage and 2x Stony Silence; Affinity and artifact hate.

• 1x Grand Abolisher; Protection from counterspells.

• 1x Reclamation Sage; Artifact and Enchantment destruction.

• 1x Melira, Sylvok Outcast; Infect protection.

• 1x Spellskite; Infect, Burn, and removal protection.

• 1x Scavenging Ooze; Some graveyard control.

• 1x Dauntless Escort ; (Flex Slot) Creature protection. Can be replaced for Dredge hate with Rest in Peace or Grafdigger's Cage.

• 2x Eidolon of Rhetoric; (Flex Slot) Combo protection. (Someone at my local FNM plays Eggs).

The idea for the sideboard is creatures that can be Eldritch Evolution-ed for when needed
