Made some slight edits to the deck - notably, added two GGT to the mainboard, took out Tymaret from the sideboard and replaced him with another Darkblast. Also swapped the Verdant Catacombs with Wooded Foothills as I'm not made of money :P I'm wondering if it's worth it to run more Hooting Mandrills in the deck- if so, what do I cut? Maybe Tasigur?

Looking forward to receiving this deck in the mail and finally getting the chance to sit down & play a night of Modern at the LGS :D

Edit: 04/04/16

Been playing this deck for a while now and I absolutely love it :D Highly recommended for anyone who's looking for a unique aggro deck with a lot of raw power behind it

Changing this deck to be more all-in graveyard combo than grindy aggro deck with explosive starts, thanks SoI. Prized Amalgam and Insolent Neonate are sweet as

Round 1: 2-0 vs. Jund. Not much to say about this round: went off with an aggressive hand in both games and there wasn't much he could do stop me. Also killed his turn 2 tarmogoyf with a lightning axe then untapped and dredged into bloodghasts and amalgams, so I think the game was pretty much decided by that point.

Round 2: 2-0 vs. Grixis. A slower deck which didn't present much in the way of threats or interaction in either game (though more in game 2). Ancestral Visions is far too slow against dredgevine, even if it's suspended on turn 1. This match was as close as it gets to a goldfish (I think he was suffering from bad variance in his draws, so he couldn't interact as well as he expected to)

Round 3: 2-1 vs. UW Tron. Had a lot of fun with this matchup - in game 1 I was a bit slower in setting up and reanimating my vengevines, so he dropped a wurmcoil on turn 4 and overloaded cyclonic rift a turn later. He ended up getting an oblivion stone with academy ruins to wipe my board every turn, and since I had been dredging aggressively I only had 10 to 20 cards left in my library by this point. Also when he overloaded cyclonic rift, I played my lotleth troll again then discarded 12 cards back to it, played a land and brought back 4 amalgams and 4 bloodghasts. With loam I could bring back 30 odd power every single turn but couldn't punch through the o stone lock :( Game 2 I mulled to 5 and kept a no land hand with a lot of aggressive potential, drew into it and went off & overwhelmed with vengevines and prized amalgams. Game 3 I went turn 1 looting, pitching 2 vengevines into turn 2 neonate, but my opponent made the mistake of remanding the neonate meaning that I could reanimate my vengevines immediately (I would have cracked the neonate to dig for a 1 drop otherwise), so the game ended soon after that.

Round 4: 0-2 vs. Kiki-Chord. Not much to say here other than I feel like I got screwed over by poor draws, but maybe I would have lost anyway. My opponent was on top of his game and beat me very efficiently, and chorded into a scooze in game 2 when all I had was a gravecrawler and a bloodghast on mull to 4, so the game was a one sided stomp in his favour.

Thinking about changing the following: -2 Rotting Rats +1 Life from the Loam +1 Darkblast OR +1 Gnaw to the Bone OR +1 Lightning Axe (undecided atm)
