x2 Field of Ruin - x2 Ghost Quarter

This deck is an Eldrazi deck who the main goal is to ramp up quite large eldrazi while controling our opponent hand to screw up his plan. Additional control and value is gained by processing cards with eldrazi processor like Wasteland Strangler and Blight Herder. Processing consist to remove a card from our opponent exile to the graveyard in order to add an effect from playing one of our prossesor. So, the deck must run cards that exile cards. The easiest way is by forcing our opponent to discard cards from its hand via Inquisition of Kozilek, Thoughtseize or Distended Mindbender. Then exile those from the graveyard with graveyard hate cards like Relic of Progenitus, Surgical Extraction and Bojuka Bog. Some cards do both at the same time like Thought-Knot Seer and Oblivion Sower. You can also win from the sheer size of the eldrazi like Reality Smasher who you can ramp fast on via Eldrazi Temple, there a eldrazi who's pretty good to ramp up too. Black is the main color of this archetype, but many color splashing option do exist to give more versatility and more efficient sideboard option to this deck without loosing its essence. I still use the mono black version for now for playtesting to see which color is the most needed. You can also feel free to suggest cards, as this deck is quite experimental.

White for Path to Exile, Lingering Souls and maybe Eldrazi Displacer maindeck. Fragmentize, Blessed Alliance, Rest in Peace and Stony Silence in sideboard.

Red for Terminate, Lightning Bolt and Kolaghan's Command maindeck. Fulminator Mage and Kozilek's Return in sideboard.

Green for Ancient Stirrings Maindeck. Natural State and Ground Seal in sideboard. For this one, its better to run it with blue, but it become a whole different deck archetype; the Bant eldrazi.

Blue for Ulamog's Nullifier and Mana Leak or any kind of counterspell you like maindeck. Negate and Disdainful Stroke in sideboard.

In deep description of each cards

Creatures :

Wasteland Strangler: Removal on a processor who can bypass indestrutible and regeneration.

Matter Reshaper: Cantrip on death, best possible one being sacrified by Distended Mindbender emerge cost for additional value.

Thought-Knot Seer: The best possible eldrazi, can be played on turn two if you got two Eldrazi Temple. It goes with what the deck do, removing option from the ennemies hands.

Reality Smasher: A really good beater that can be really cheap to cast.

Blight Herder: The best five cost eldrazi (with Reality Smasher). I run this one for the added value of the tokens it produce by processing, in a non processor eldrazi deck, you better run Reality Smasher instead.

Oblivion Sower: Big, strong and exile things.

Distended Mindbender: Go nicely along Matter Reshaper as in can net a card at worse or a permanent at best as you sacrifice it for the emerge cost of Distended Mindbender. It got to remove up to two cards and is quite large and can be played early.

Instants :

Surgical Extraction: A source of exile for our processor who can screw up combo deck and can be played for free.

Dismember: Have the potential to remove almost anything in the format for one colorless (and some lifepoint).

Warping Wail: The colorless charm, many option for many situations. First, its a removal who can remove small, annoying, creature you don't want to use a Dismember on like a Bird of Paradise or a Noble Hierarch. Second can counter sorceries Inquisition of Kozilek, Thoughtseize, serum vision and Lingering Souls are widely played card. Last can either be an emergency chump blocker or most likely mana ramp for next turn.

Sorceries :

Inquisition of Kozilek: Remove most of the important cards in the format.

Thoughtseize: For those not covered by Inquisition of Kozilek.

Artifacts :

Relic of Progenitus: Main exile engine in the deck along with a cantrip option.

Lands :

swamps and Wastes: Main basic lands who can be tutored after getting one of our creature Path to Exiled. Option for colorless included.

Eldrazi Temple: Main land you want to get early or with Expedition Map. Get bigger eldrazi faster. Shame you can no longer run more copy of it via Eye of Ugin

Caves of Koilos: Main colorless land with option for black mana, It doesn't matter that much which painland you play as long as it produce black mana.

Ghost Quarter: Second source of colorless mana with option to get rid of and opponents non-basic land. It can tutor us a black mana source if you it you own land with it. At least in a pinch.

Zhalfirin Void: A Scry added to a waste.

Sanctum of Ugin: Free tutor once you played a Distended Mindbender.

Bojuka Bog: Exile is really important in this deck, having it on a tutorable land with Expedition Map is a plus.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth: Its an aditional swamp with a twist.
