Typical Death and taxes list save for a 1 very important thing, the swords package.

Now, I moved Batterskull to the side because he is incredibly not-good lately, except for a few vital matchups being Burn, Eldrazi, and BUG Decks (who can remove the creature, but not the artifact itself), and even then, BUG has been playing a lot of true-name nemises recently. So what do I put in instead? Sword of Body and Mind because (1) It can almost completely dodge BUG decks, and while the mill part of the effect is almost never relevant, the ability to make a creature every turn is incredibly powerful, even against a deck like miracles.

The main question now is, why would I sub sword of fire and ice out for sword of war and peace? the main answer is one word: Leovold. If my opponent plays a leovold (who is played in Bant Deathblade as well as BUG), sword of fire and ice becomes useless. Even if I connect, it can't kill Leovold, and I can't draw my extra card. Instead, I shock them and THEY draw a card. What War and Peace does that's so much better is (1) Make the damage I deal to them non-targeted,(2) gives me more life to hold them off with, and (3) I'm now able to search up 4 colors of protection with Stoneforge Mystic, which can be incredibly brutal when either sword is attached to a Mirran Crusader.

Sideboard is a typical sideboard, but I added enlightened tutor because so many of my individual pieces are either artifacts or enchantments.
