This deck plays very similar to death and taxes which is seeing play in legacy. Unfortunately, Mother of Runes time has passed, and she is no longer with us for anyone playing modern, but her banner men still continue the fight in her honour!!!

This deck is so annoying to play against! Fill your opponent with rage, show them your hate!!! Go hatebears!!!!!

Things to keep in mind!!!

You want to try to get Leonin Arbiter and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben out as fast as you can. These are the creatures that are going to piss your opponent off the most. Any deck running Fetchland's is going to have a really hard time. Ghost Quarter becomes the closest thing to Strip Mine in Modern in this brew.

Playing this deck is like sticking your hand in a bag of salt and vinegar chips with dirty old cut on your hand....
