This is my U/W Weenie deck with a human tribal sub theme... well kinda. All creatures are either human or have the ability to be human except for 5. Those five just seemed too good for me not to include. The deck has your basic Aggro go wide strategy with some other things cooking too. Metallic Mimic allows your humans to etb with a +1/+1 counter on them. Thalia's Lieutenant puts +1/+1 counters on your humans when it etb, and pumps itself when another Human etb. Adaptive Automation Anthems your humans. Then you have your finishers, Abzan Falconer which gives your humans with counters on them flying, and Herald of Secret Streams , one the only non humans in the deck, which makes all your creatures with counters on them unblockable. One card I’m experimenting with in this deck is Deputy of Detention . I normally would’ve put Reflector Mage in this slot, but DoD has sparked my interest and I think it’s ability is possibly more powerful than RM. I know I need playset of Aether Vial , and I will put that in once I can afford it. I also want to put in a playset of Flooded Strand to help fix my mana. Other than those two Upgrades, I’m not sure what else to do. So I wanna hear what y’all think. Is it competitive? Could I take this deck to FNM as it is right now? Should I wait till I get those two upgrades?Is there anything I can do in the meantime to make it more competitive while I’m waiting to get those two upgrades? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
