My Idea Of a Nice Solid Mono Blue Deck. Mono Colored decks tend to out race the three colored decks in thr current meta, but trading 4+ drops for additional potential damage doesnt garuntee u a solid board state by turn 5-7 and so on. A good mana curve makes hands more consistent and allows us solid plays.. Most of the time.
CARDS:
Chasm Skulker
I like to play cards that shske the board. Chasm was not one of them. However, its best not to underestimate the potential it has.
Thassa, God of the Sea Nice Solid three drop with some useful scry and unblockable if need be.
Hall of Triumph
has seen a fluctuation in the copies existing in the mainboard. For consistency, 4 is recommended, but 3 are here to make some extra room for other cards which I deem very important as well. This bad bouy just pushes the damage, and gives creatures a nice buff.
Bident of Thassa and Jace, the Living Guildpact finally have proven their place. By running only a few to one copy of these has consistently allowed us to draw into them, and play to make Thassa active.
Master of Waves. High impact with the potential to do lots of damage.
Frost Lynx and
Vaporkin
just have great card synergy with Master of waves. Frost lynx In particular is fantastic, not only being an elemental, but having the ability to delay our opponent's tempo.
This is my finalized list, although there is always room for improvement. I won't have the chance to play at my LGS for some time. Suggestions are welcome, +1's if the build looks solid enough you'd play it, and any other ideas for a proper sideboard would of great help! Thanks!
