Sideboard

Explanation of Cards

Field Marshal: Very good finisher who buffs my guys and makes them harder to deal with in combat.

Preeminent Captain: The best card in this deck. He cheats Captain of the Watch in, other Preeminent Captains, and just spirals out of control.

Elspeth, Knight-Errant: A white staple. Token generator and finisher.

Captain of the Watch: Powerful with Preeminent Captain. Very overwhelming.

Hero of Bladehold: Not a Soldier, but still works. Finishes games and creates dudes.

The Sideboard

Timely Reinforcements: Gets sided in against any deck that is faster than mine.

Celestial Purge : White sideboard staple. Hits Liliana of the Veil, Dark Confidant, and Grave Titan.

Elite Inquisitor : Shouldn't be in here. Vampires and Zombies are quite popular in the metagame at my cardshop.

Thalia, Guardian of Thraben: Sided in against any control deck. Nice to have 3.

Relic of Progenitus: I don't like Snapcaster Mage or reanimator.

Event Report

7/11/14, FNM: I had to placehold 4 Preeminent Captains with 3 Ballyrush Banneret and 1 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, and I still took 1st place! Match 1 was against Vampires. I won because of my super secret sideboard tech (2-0) . Match 2 was against some noob that got the bye (2-0). Then Match 3 was against G/B Infect. He beat me one game because he got used 3 cheap pump spells on a Plague Stinger . I beat him the other 2 (2-1). Match 4 was the top 4, and I had to play against G/B Infect again, but this time I won without as much effort (2-0). Match 5 was the finals. I had to play MeliraPod. I was amazed that I 2-0'd him with a prototype!

7/25/14, FNM: I had to play against B/R aggro first match, and easily stomped him with more creatures and first strike (2-0). Next I played MeliraPod. First game was easy: he played a couple creatures, but I beat him with Field Marshal and other buff spells. Next game he won because he quickly played his combo with Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Kitchen Finks, and Viscera Seer. However, I had a Path to Exile in hand, knowing that he wouldn't be able to combo out if I was to cast it. Unfortunately, he drew a Spellskite and won. Next game I beat him down with Elspeth, Knight-Errant and a Precinct Captain (2-1). The third match was against UBR Cruel Control. I destroyed him first game, but he was able to cast 3 Cruel Ultimatums second game with the help of Snapcaster Mage. The last game I won because I used Windbrisk Heights and Aether Vial to get out of hand with creatures (2-1). Semi-finals was against a variation of Bogles, and I won the first game with a double Field Marshal. He took the second game because of an Invisible Stalker with Increasing Savagery and Inquisitor's Flail. I destroyed him the final game (2-1). The finals was against Melissa DeTora's BW Tokens, who I was able to outrace with bigger and more efficient creatures (2-0). So far, I am extremely happy with this deck and it's record!
