Another variation of the midrange dimir build I'm testing, based on The Pirate God deck posted by SaffronOlive at MTGGoldfish. I haven't had a chance to tune this to my local meta yet, so the sideboard will go thru some changes once I can make it to an FNM. I went with a 3/2 split with Lookout's Dispersal and Essence Scatter mostly because I have been testing this a lot against Temur Energy. I really like having Essence Scatter in the main. One copy of Search for azcanta is in there mostly for testing/spice. I typically don't transform it, I just like the pseudo-scry ability to set my draws and feed the graveyard.

I've been going back and forth a lot between 24 and 25 lands. Other considerations for the mana base include Ifnir Deadlands Ipnu Rivulet and Field of Ruin.
