This deck is my personal favorite for reasons that are a bit tough to tell at first. It plays out fairly well, but it's far from the greatest. That aside, even in the flavor department it's questionable at best. No, this deck is one full of memories. See, I started Magic in the RtR block. I started off with the Golgari Intro Pack, and a few days later, after I rapidly fell in love with Magic, I split the Duel Deck with my Izzet-playing friend.

As time went on, I started playing more and more varied decks, and my old, (relatively awful) Golgari deck fell into disuse. So, I converted it into my first (and still not great) Commander deck, and I've been slowly tweaking it over time as I happen upon new cards to do so with, and think of new ways to tweak the strategy of filling the grave and hurling massive Bone Serpents and Nighthowlers at people. This deck is the direct evolution of my first little starter deck, and it has kind of come to represent my skill as a player.

Is it still janky as all get out? Of course, but it keeps getting better, card by card.
