tested some stuff before regionals. —Jan. 31, 2016

went 3-2 today. Lost in the Top 8 to Tron. so yeah.

Nothing special. It was basic Junding. I tested a copy of Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, and HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK! This card is INSANE! At one point, my soul sisters opponent was ahead with some random white creatures, I had a bob. I drew Kalitas, and slammed it. Then 2x Bolts to kill some stuff. Exiled them and made zombies. attacked with bob, they block, exile... another zombie. By the end of the game I was at 33 life and had 6 zombies. Soul sisters lost.

If you are not playing Kalitas, you are fucking wrong.

Why no foil Tarmogoyf? lol! Like the deck. +1 from me.

So I've heard rumblings that Goblin Dark-Dwellers is good in // strategies (specifically grixis) do you think that it could do well here as well?

Maelstrom Pulse from the grave with a 4/4 body stapled to it seems amazing.

Maybe cutting a bob or something, not THAT familiar with Jund but it seems like it fits perfectly.

Edit: Interesting to note that GDD works well with Kolaghan's Command.

Ohthenoises, there is a secret Facebook group of hardcore Jund players. Its literally only the fanatical Jund-ers.

We got together during the spoilers (online) and talked about GDD ad nauseam. I proxied it, and it just seemed "meh". Others came to the same conclusion.

But Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet on the other hand... that card is just badass. Against aggressive decks, it does some serious business and then I get the added benefit of gaining a zombie token when something dies. Hell yes.

lol, and its actually a class III felony in 23 states to cut any number of bobs from Jund.

I was just thinking bobs cause both provide card advantage and one conflicts with the other cmc wise. :P

Fair enough, it seems great on paper. Thanks for the insight.
