Sideboard

Jund dinosaurs, one of my favourite colour combinations and one of my favourite tribes and I feel like Pioneer is finally the format to give them their chance to shine. So without further ado, let's get into the deck.

In our one drop slots with have Attune with Aether, Commune with Dinosaurs, and Thoughtseize. Attune with Aether provides fixing and combos with aether hub to help make sure we are never worrying about out colours, I am sure it will be stable in the format until it gets banned. Commune with Dinosaurs gets us a land or a dinosaur, I chose this over Once Upon a Time just because it costs one has the same effect and I don't consider the first turn being free part that much more valuable than the lower cost. Thoughtseize, if you are running black you should be running this it is hand attack at its absolute finest and it can help disrupt your opponent's hand at any point in the game while giving you information.

In our two drop slots we have Marauding Raptor and Otepec Huntmaster. The raptor provides a cost reduction to our dinosaurs, gets pumped when we play them, and it lets us draw a card off Ripjaw Raptor when we play one it is sweet. Otepec Huntmaster, I was torn between this and Drover but I think the cost reduction is arguable more useful and the ability to grant haste can be very relavent.

In the three drop slots we got Rhythm of the Wild, more haste for our dinosaurs or even making them just a bit bigger if we have a huntmaster out so it is a solid card to have come down. Rotting Regisaur might just be the most important card in the deck, losing a card each turn sucks but that 7 power so early is very relevant in getting both The Great Henge out and Ghalta.

For four drops we have Ripjaw Raptor, which is just a solid body that our opponents aren't inclined to block because it will draw us cards and Shifting Ceratops which is kind of our mainboard anti-control card to hopefully let us get that game one win before side boarding.

In the more than four slots, Ghalta, Primal Hunger is our win condition, slam this 12/12 tampler down as soon as possible, preferably with haste, and attack until victory. The Great Henge, with a Rotting Regisaur out this card comes down turn four for pretty much nothing and it will provide such a ridiculous amount of value that we might just win from it alone.

Anyway, that's the deck I think it's pretty sweet.
