I haven't played magic in years. Just spent the weekend playing Commander with a friend who is really into it and has quite a collection. I wanted to "create" a CMDR deck, but I have no idea how much this thing is tallying up to cost. It is just for fun. I know some of these cards are really expensive, so not really worth for a novice/casual like myself. Clearly the idea of this is to get artifacts out fast and cheap. There are some cool combos, but to be honest it's just theoretical at this point. It may not work well at all.

I totally new to the site as well, so just trying to figure this all out.
