You know how people say "(something) is the new black"? Well, as it turns out, black is always in style.

Standard rotation-proof Mono-black aggro/midrange with Trial of Ambition as the main removal. Sometimes you play the aggro game: hitting hard and fast with Dread Wanderer, Scrapheap Scrounger, Bone Picker, and Ammit Eternal. Other times, you are a control deck killing all of their creatures, out-grinding them and gaining enough life to stay alive against hyper-aggro; Trial of Ambition, Cartouche of Ambition , Gifted Aetherborn, Demon of Dark Schemes, and Live Fast all fill this role.

Worst matchups are definitely combo decks, but you can bring Lay Bare the Heart, Lost Legacy, Dispossess , and Doomfall in against them.
