Welcome to the X games. This is my X tribal deck. No hydras to be seen here. I was originally gonna go with hydras but then realized that it would still be hydra tribal even if I ran no hydras because for every instant and sorcery I cast I’m also making a hydra token of the same size so I figured why not just go with all instants and sorceries so I could get all the great effects from those plus get my big fatties at the same time. Pretty much every other card in here helps support the cost of X. From over a dozen and a half lands, rocks and dorks that produce more than one mana plus doubling and tripling mana production:
Doubling the amount of tokens produced:

And doubling the amounts of +1/+1 counters added to those produced tokens:
These hydras get real big real fast. I don’t have hardly any artifact and enchantment removal in here so the ten X drop counterspells in here should mostly be saved for stopping those ones that are especially annoying from even entering the battlefield.
Esix, Fractal Bloom was added to turn tokens into more mana dorks to give a ton more mana for more X drops and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord as another win con if my non trample fatties keep getting blocked with chump blockers.
