I like decks which smash things, Timmy-style.

Dragons of Tarkir is one of the most Timmy sets ever. This means there really is an opportunity for big stompy things to shine. Gruul was big in the last Standard realm, and I hope R/U/G, Temur-style decks are going to be viable in the meta.

SOOOO let's break it down.

Elvish Mystic and Sylvan Caryatid are there for ramp in conjunction with Courser of Kruphix

These cards allow me to play defense against aggro decks and ramp quickly. Cards like Stormbreath Dragon and Polukranos, World Eater come in early and trigger Temur Ascendancy for dat sweeeeet card draw. Every four-mana or higher card I am dropping triggers ascendancy for card draw. Even that sweet dragon from Sarkhan Unbroken gets a card draw.

Let's also not forget some new toys like Savage Knuckleblade which I can use late-game to continually force back into my hand then play it on my next turn for more card advantage.

The sideboard cards are designed for current aggro decks such as rabble red and control decks, like Shamanic Revelation to get back some life from burn decks (stupid Jeskai) and Xenagos, the Reveler to make short work out of control decks. Anger of the Gods = I hate you Mantis Rider and Goblin Rabblemaster
