MTG Alpha was released in 1993. You know what else came out in '93? Jurassic Freaking Park. Separated from birth, the world's best movie and the world's best game are reunited to create the world's greatest deck! Ok, so maybe "greatness" is subjective, but Gishath is a wallet-friendly general with terrific synergies, not to mention haste and trample.
When you play this deck, you become a hunting raptor. Stalk your opponents; ramp quietly while everyone is picking on Omnath or Zur, then slam Gishath ASAP while everyone is still tapped out for early plays. That's when they remember that your novelty, standard-legal 8-drop general has haste. Velociraptors have no time for politics, and neither do you - attack the weakest player at the table and flood your board with dumb Naya power.

Strionic Resonator is busted as always, letting us double Gishath's damage trigger, Xenagos, God of Revels' combat phase trigger, or our other creatures' Enrage abilities. There are no unconditional boardwipes in this deck (not even the very flavorful Star of Extinction). Instead, we use cards like Heaven / Earth and Pyrohemia to ping everything smaller than our dinos, while simultaneously triggering our Enrage creatures for maximum #value!
Polyraptor with Forerunner of the Empire puts 40 power in eight bodies on the board; if Forerunner is just pumped +1/+1 you get 80 power and 16 bodies. It's so good it's stupid. Staff of Nin is awesome in this deck: not only is it consistent card draw, but its tap ability makes it a repeatable Enrage trigger! Ulvenwald Tracker triggers enrage while it feeds elves and wizards to our huge dinos, and Savage Stomp does the same thing and pumps them up for only .
A lot of Gishath lists run almost all the dinosaurs from Ixalan/Rivals, to get maximum value off her damage triggers. The thing is, not all of the new-ish dinos are good. It's not worth filling a slot with a mediocre creature, for a chance to play that mediocre creature for free. That includes (deep breath) Carnage Tyrant. A 7/6 hexproof trampler just isn't that strong in a format defined by giant creatures and boardwipes, although when the price drops (it's $16 as of 3/18) I'll probably swap it in replacing Taurean Mauler.
The last thing the Dinos want is to go extinct again. Heroic Intervention and Teferi's Protection turn our opponent's board wipes into one-sided blowouts, while Naya Charm and Wildest Dreams help us close out the late game by recurring our most powerful creatures. Eternal Witness isn't great in this deck since we don't have ways to recur her, and by using spells we get around stax effects like Torpor Orb. In a deck that ramps this hard it's also pretty reasonable to play Wildest Dreams to get back 4 or even 5 cards from our graveyard.
TThis deck uses a couple pricey mana rocks like Chromatic Lantern and Mana Vault, but you can swap them for Darksteel Ingot and Basalt Monolith without losing steam. Same goes for dual lands - vivids and tap lands aren't ideal but they get the job done, as anyone who's had their butt handed to them by a budget deck will attest. Make sure you have lots of sources though - your commander costs and is going to die a lot!
Of the pricier cards in the deck, prioritize those that synergize with Gishath. Aura Shards is one of the best artifact/enchantment removal spells ever printed, but Xenagos, God of Revels makes Gish hit for 14 - that puts an opponent one turn away from dying to Commander damage, and lets us flip 14 cards to find dinosaurs. The look on an opponent's face when you play Teferi's Protection in response to their Nev Disk is extremely satisfying, but the much less-expensive Iroas, God of Victory has a bigger impact on our game; he makes our creatures evasive, turns every attack into a no-lose proposition, and is really difficult to remove.

Dropped another Forest for Ash Barrens. Not 100% sure this was the right call - there are a lot of tap-lands in here - but Barrens is a million times better than Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse and still fetches a basic at instant speed...
