This is a pretty typical mono blue High Tide deck for multiplayer EDH. Even though I don't have a Candelabra of Tawnos the deck still consistently does it's thing.

The goal of the deck is pretty simple: To storm off by making a lot of mana with High Tide and about 5 islands, or Paradox Engine with mana rocks (Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond or Gilded Lotus for blue mana).

HIGH TIDE

After casting High Tide, you want to cycle through the deck by drawing a lot of cards (Meditate and Ideas Unbound are all-stars here) and untapping the islands to continue making lots of mana (using Time Spiral, Frantic Search, Palinchron, Reality Spasm and Turnabout). The end game is to storm off with Brain Freeze/Aetherflux Reservoir or to draw your deck with Blue Sun's Zenith and win with Laboratory Maniac.

PARADOX ENGINE

With Paradox Engine you are also going to be drawing through your deck but with mana producing artifacts instead of lands. Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox and Gilded Lotus will produce colored mana to sustain the large amount of draw cards you will be casting. The end goal is the same as High Tide.

NOTABLE COMBOS

Helm of Awakening + Sensei's Divining Top + Future Sight = draw your whole deck and get a very high storm count from playing Sensei's Divining Top for free off the top of the library.

Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + any combination of mana rocks that makes 2 = Infinity storm count.

WHY USE Jace, Vryn's Prodigy   AS THE COMMANDER?

Pretty simple. When you flip to Jace, Telepath Unbound, the -2 ability lets you cast High Tide AGAIN from the graveyard making each Island tap for THREE! Also, if you are running our of gas while storming off, recasting a Dig Through Time or Meditate can keep you going.
