Howl at the Moon

Commander / EDH

mercury01

Werewolves! I built this deck specifically to run werewolves. Several of the spells included are mass land destruction, which I understand is frowned upon, but it's one of the only ways that the deck can keep its werewolves from un-transforming.

Also included is Static Orb to keep other players from untapping and Tangle Wire to keep them held down. Mobilize, Vitalize, Seedborn Muse, Bear Umbra, Quest for Renewal and Sword of Feast and Famine counteract those effects for me alone.

I kept the tutor count low to make sure I don't play too many lands at once, since I'll need some to play post-wipe. Besides, there's enough recursion to ensure I'll be able to replay what I need.

The gameplan is fairly straightforward. Come out swinging early and keep the board clear of lands. Most of the threats in the deck are on a low curve, so it's easy to bounce back from wraths and the like.
