Current Thoughts: This deck absolutely crushes low removal metas. But you cry as soon as that first board wipe hits. Classic example of an all in aggro deck. Its fun for a while, but I've really been enjoying my other Aurelia builds that are more balanced a lot more, like Angels, and Equipments.

This is the revised version of the Aurelia 45 Creatures deck from about a year ago. This list features a lower mana curve, significantly more ramp, and less equipments than the previous list. The idea is to run as low removal count as you can possibly get away with, though I may need to bump it up a few. You have 2 general game plans with this deck: the first is to get some ramp going and quickly get to your 4 drops, 5 drops, and follow up with Aurelia. The other game plan is to get a 2 drop down, and follow up with one of the value based equipments, then get to the 4 and 5 drops with Aurelia. If no one plays any removal this deck can kill a table in 6 turns, without a sol ring or mana crypt. I still need to get more testing against removal heavy metas to know how this list will perform.

One issue I noticed is that you really want to hit all your land drops, so I'm considering adding Gift of Estates , and Boreas Charger . Another issue I noticed in testing is the lack of a late game plan if all your stuff gets blown up. I currently don't run Sword of Fire and Ice and Sword of Light and Shadow because they are slow, however they do allow you to recover and do more in the late game, so i may need to add those back in.

These cards still need more testing to prove themselves: Grenzo, Havoc Raiser , Ogre Battledriver , Dowsing Dagger  , Weathered Wayfarer

I do have multiple versions of this deck, a few on MTGO and 1 in paper. In paper I do not have a Grim monolith, and have chosen not to run mana vault for the time being, though I may add it later. Anyway, in those slots I'm currently running Wear / Tear and using 1 flex slot try try out Master Warcraft and will continue to rotate through cards until I find something that I really like. Somehow I also had room for Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots , not sure what came out in their place. Also in my paper deck I keep many of the anti counterspells in from the sideboard as my local tends to be more counterspell heavy, but does not have many board wipes. I believe that with the proper sideboard, you have a reasonable chance to beat just about anything.

Cards I'm strongly considering and need to test at some point: Sunforger probably the best card in boros, however this deck is trying to win before it has a chance to come down, but if the game goes longer for any reason it will be awesome. Thalia's Lancers A good body that tutors for many different things which can close out a game like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight , Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite , Odric, Lunarch Marshal , and Odric, Master Tactician to name a few.
