Draw ETB's —Jan. 19, 2020
In theory, Ghirapur AEther Grid made for another win-con, but in practice it is far, far too slow as a win-con and tends to get used as spot removal for problem creatures. The thing is, this deck as-is wasn't intended to interact with opponents and instead sprint for the finish line. I decided to add back in Ichor Wellspring, since it is 1cmc less than the Grid and also offers additional draw effects to help further dig past mana pockets and dead cards to keep the engine running. Even without KCI, I still have the opportunity to kill the Wellspring for its LTB draw effect thanks to Claw of Gix.
Figured while I was at it, I may as well toss in a few other draw ETB artifacts to help churn the deck even faster. I put Guild Globe back in and had an extra Golden Egg to toss in as well. In the end I decided to cut Shield Sphere and Phyrexian Walker, since Artifact Creatures don't interact as well as outright artifacts with some of my win-cons, like Firebrand Archer. I'm hoping these changes further streamline the deck's speed.
