This is my second attempt at a competitive modern Hellkite Tyrant deck. The deck is made to turn everything on the board to artifacts and then either destroy or take things away.

There are several strong combos:The first being and probably one of my favorite even though it's difficult to pull of is probably Hellkite Tyrant + Mycosynth Lattice . Similar effects to this one can be pulled off with Hellkite Tyrant + Liquimetal Coating , or Hellkite Tyrant + Myr Landshaper . All of these combos are meant to take away your opponents "toys".

The other really strong combo set is created by any of those turn permanent into artifact cards with Splinter .For instance Myr Landshaper + Splinter means the removal of all land from an opponents deck. Liquimetal Coating does the same thing just for creatures, and Mycosynth Lattice completly open up the possibilities!
