Instant (1)

Enchantment (1)

This is my Voltron deck! Very basic strategy focused on equipment and beating face. There are a few creatures who are great to suit up with equipment if Aurelia isn’t ready to come out swinging.

Ramp/Color Fixing:

Ramp and color fixing is decent in this deck: 6 mana rocks as well as Land Tax, Burnished Hart, Knight of the White Orchid, Gift of Estates, Weathered Wayfarer, Tithe, Sword of the Animist, Treasonous Ogre, and Smothering Tithe.

Draw:

Some of the best card draw in the deck is Mask of Memory and Rogue's Gloves since it is combat damage dependent. If our equipped creatures also have double strike, we double our card draw; for instance, we could draw 8 cards total over the course of two combat phases if Aurelia, the Warleader has double strike and is equipped with Mask of Memory. Wheel of Fortune is another great way to draw into a better hand.

Tutors:

Boros is limited for good tutors. The best we have access to are creature based tutors like Recruiter of the Guard, Imperial Recruiter, Stoneforge Mystic, Stonehewer Giant and Godo, Bandit Warlord. There are decent equipment tutors like Steelshaper's Gift and Open the Armory. Nahiri, the Harbinger's ultimate will let us tutor for a creature or equipment, but we have to return it to our hand at the end of the turn. The best all around tutor is Gamble, but it has a big downside which always stings when we have to discard the card we tutored for.

Sunforger is another important instant tutor. This really lets us control the board and have answer's to our opponent's threats. Generous Gift, Swords to Plowshares, Lapse of Certainty, Ephemerate and Boros Charm are likely targets for the Sunforger package.

Interaction:

Besides the Sunforger package, we also run a board wipe suite because resetting the board can give us the best chance to cast and swing with our commander. If possible, we can cast a board wipe and hold priority to cast Boros Charm to protect our board.

Win Cons:

Win cons in the deck all revolve around combat. We run the Helm of the Host combo for an efficient win. I have been considering running Magnetic Theft to equip Helm at instant speed that is also tutor-able with Sungforger.

Closing Thoughts:

Weaknesses of the deck I've noticed are usual Boros deficiencies as well as Aurelia being a huge target for removal or getting stolen; duhhh! This is why we run Homeward Path to deal with all the treason and control magic effects. Other protection we have for Aurelia can be tutored with Sunforger such as Ephemerate (will blink Aurelia), Boros Charms (will give our permanents indestructible) and Lapse of Certainty (will cancel removal).
The deck can be really fast and always fun to suit up Aurelia!
