Esper artifacts with lifegain and pillowfort for survival.

When playing this deck, the primary goal is to get as many artifacts on the field as you can. Many cards in the deck are better the more artifacts you have. Many of the more expensive artifact creatures can win games on their own, though the more support you can provide them the better. The deck list is currently high on creatures, both because my local EDH meta is high on heavily creature based decks and because many of them provide excellent value.

Sydri, Galvanic Genius is used as the commander as she can animate many of the expensive artifacts in the deck and allows for brilliant combos. Animating Caltrops and giving it deathtouch and lifelink destroys all the creatures attacking you while gaining you 1 life for each of those creatures. When buffing your artifact creatures, you can even animate artifact lands into attack if your opponent is completely open. Mycosynth Lattice and Sydri allow you to destroy opponents lands for a U mana per land. Sydri can be even used to animate enemy equipment mid attack, rendering it useless as it falls of the equipped creature. If an opponent blocks Blightsteel Colossus with a creature with high enough toughness to survive the infect, you can simply grant your Colossus deathtouch, meaning it only has to deal a single point of damage to trample over for a poison kill.

Thopter Assembly + Time Sieve is a key combo that can lock down games by giving you infinite turns, giving you as long as you need to find your wincons and take your opponents down, though I usually find that most people concede once you get an infinite turn combo happening. Myr Battlesphere can swing in for massive amounts of damage on its own, and when combined with the anthem effects for artifact creatures can easily have enough toughness to survive most defences opponents could put up. Sphinx of the Steel Wind will survive any opposition from opposing red and green decks while both swinging at them and defending you from their counter attacks, helping you gain at least 6 life every round of play. Tezzeret the Seeker provides massive value for a deck like this, allowing you to untap your best mana rocks, your Voltaic Key or your Steel Overseer, tutor for a key artifact you need or use his ultimate to turn all those early game artifact lands and mana rocks into beefy 5/5 creatures until end of turn for a game winning swing.
