"Beg me for life, and I will fill you with the glory of Phyrexian Perfection."

Mono Green Infect deck for casual players or newcomers wanting to have a cheap deck to play modern with...

Glistener Elf is the ideal infect creature- the 1/1 for 1 with infect makes this deck. The next best thing is Ichorclaw Myr, which, while costing 2 mana, is very hard to block, especially with a Rancor on it. If blocked with Rancor, Ichorclaw Myr gets +4/+2 and Trample. Having only 8 infect creatures would make the deck inconsistent, so I put in 3 Blight Mambas in- the regen is surprisingly useful.

To pump my Infect creatures, I have cards like Giant Growth, Mutagenic Growth, and Groundswell. Mutagenic Growth can be played for 2 unimportant life, increasing the speed of the deck, and the other two can both be played at instant speed, with Groundswell often giving +4/+4 and Giant Growth always giving +3/+3.

In addition to those 3, I have Become Immense, which is often played for the kill near the end of the game (which with this deck can be turns 3 or 4) for 1 or 2 mana, and Apostle's Blessing and Vines of Vastwood. The former allows your Infect creature to often swing unblocked, while the latter always gives it trollshroud and can give it an additional +4/+4.

Rancor is one of the best one-mana auras out there, giving my Infect creatures trample so that the damage can go through and they can't chump block nearly as easily while also giving +2/+0. In case my creature dies, I get to keep the Rancor, which turns it from a good card into an amazing one. My other enchantment is Wild Defiance, which serves a huge role if the game goes long. That extra +3/+3 turns a Giant Growth into a Become Immense, which is a huge leap. The 3 mana without an instant effect is a little restrictive, but I win on turn 4 if I still have more than 1 pump spell.

For removal, I run 2 Dismembers, although they aren't needed much.

This is a very budgeted deck, but if you want to make it less budget add a playset of Inkmoth Nexus', some Pendelhavens, Might of Old Krosas, and maybe considering branching out into blue. Invigorate is very overpowered in this deck, but it isn't Modern Legal. Noble Hierarchs are incredibly expensive, but would be good here. I have a non-budget version of this deck on TappedOut too, although I don't actually have the non-budget version.
