general idea:

keep off the throne, get down a sac outlet, steal other people's creatures and get counters on them with dethrone, then sac them to keep them forever. alternately, keep opponents' creature counts in check with recurrable removal like Big Game Hunter and Nekrataal along with cards like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos (the deck is sort of evenly divided right now; more threaten effects like Mark of Mutiny and Slave of Bolas would enhance the stealing theme, while creatures like Fleshbag Marauder, Merciless Executioner and Slum Reaper would provide additional recurrable removal. See possible additions below for more ideas.

the custom categories play loose with definitions but the concept should be clear.

this was originally created around the 7x9 concept, with the nine 7-card packages broken down as: 2x threaten, 2x sac outlet, 1x counters, 1x removal, 1x mana ramp, 1x stax/sac-shutdown and 1x etc (tutors, haste enablers, etc).

things to think about:

-enchantment removal is a problem, Liquimetal Coating plus more artifact removal such as reckless reveller may help with that, as well as blue return-to-hand and counterspells...?

-perhaps swap out the threaten spells for more creatures with ETB threaten effects such as Conquering Manticore and Enthralling Victor, and put in creatures with etb steal effects plus some ETB bounce guys like Separatist Voidmage and Ancestral Statue?

-change to a stronger stax-ish sacrifice/discard theme with Oona's Blackguard, Fleshbag Marauder, Merciless Executioner, Slum Reaper, Sadistic Hypnotist, Liliana's Specter and Dauthi Mindripper? i'm worried about the 'fun' of that; somehow i feel that my playgroup would rather play a creature and have it stolen rather than not be able to even cast a creature...

-or tone down the stealing theme and just roll out some more undying guys like Pyreheart Wolf and Vengeful Vampire for general grixis goodstuff with counters stupport?
