Sideboard

Any deck playing Simian Spirit Guide and Goryo's Vengeance is the epitome of a glass cannon deck in modern. Turn 2 kills are within the realm of possibility, and turn 3 kills are extremely possible. The reason why I prefer a grixis version of this deck over the more traditional black-red version is that while I can kill my opponent on the second or third turn, I can play a longer game and manipulate my deck more with Serum Visions and Izzet Charm. Worst comes to worst, I can even pay for my Pact of Negations. But the goal of the deck is to reanimate Griselbrand, draw my deck and cast Nourishing Shoal exiling Worldspine Wurm to gain life to keep drawing 7, then reanimating Borborgymos Enraged on the same turn, then discarding lands to kill my opponent. A backup plan is to put Worldspine Wurm into play with Through the Breach, attacking for 15 with trample, then creating 3 5/5 tokens with trample that the opponent most likely won't be able to deal with. I can also use the splice onto arcane mechanic from Kamigawa to splice Goryo's Vengeance onto Nourishing Shoal, requiring my opponent to counter the shoal and have another counter for the vengeance on the following turn. My sideboard is absolutely geared to slow down my opponents post-board, and I can act like a pseudo-control deck until I can resolve my combo and go off. Any questions and comments are welcome!
