I EAGERLY WELCOME COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS :)

General Strategy: Packed with multiple 2 and 3-card combos, most spells either find the cards in need, or counter/remove opponent's spells/permanents. Essentially lockout/stall the game until you can squeeze off a combo.

Layout: Cards are organized by their function. You will see sometimes the same card appears in more than one category. This versatility makes for a very flexible deck.

Purpose: Slow things down to a grinding halt. They either scoop up their cards or wait for you to combo-kill them.

Flavor: Old School Control. In it for the long game, this deck can wipe out opponents lands entirely, make them sacrifice permanents for an infinite number of turns, and can operate autonomously under a resolved Stasis.

Method: I focus primarily on hitting land drops and powering out mana rocks for the first few turns. A fairly substantial portion of spells being run are ones that dig through the deck, to find land, or, to find combo pieces. The list runs 18 counter spell effects. The game merely needs to go long enough for you to set up a lockout, or make quick work of it and (Tunnel Vision) as soon as you know what's on the bottom of their library. The deck is most powerful 1v1, but the Stasis, Back to Basics, and Smokestack lockouts, plus the Hive-mind combo, make it possible to win against rafts of opponents.

Lockouts: Stasis + Teferi, Temporal Archmage : I can resolve a Stasis, and use Teferi, Temporal Archmage to untap 4 islands, and then continue to use his +1 for three turns until I do it again. The lockout becomes colder with Frozen AEther.

Smokestack + Sundial of the Infinite : Smokestack has two triggers; on my upkeep I place them on the stack so that I sacrifice permanents first, then add a counter. Following that, I place the triggers on the stack so that I add a counter, but then before the second trigger resolves, I end the turn. This way, I can keep rolling up Smokestack and never sacrifice permanents myself. A slightly different effect can be achieved with Smokestack and Chronatog by skipping turns, but I myself would have to sacrifice a permanent or two before it became effective to do so.

Karn, Silver Golem + Mycosynth Lattice , a favorite combo of mine. With Mycosynth Lattice in play, Karn's ability turns lands into 0/0 creatures. It's so satisfying to nuke lands for 1 mana.

(Chronatog + Frozen AEther + Stasis ), (Crucible of Worlds + Strip Mine ), (Chronatog + Smokestack )

Win Conditions: Jace, the Mind Sculptor, (Spell Crumple + Tunnel Vision ), (Spin into Myth + Tunnel Vision ), (Jace, the Mind Sculptor + Tunnel Vision ), (Tunnel Vision + Vendilion Clique ), (Hive Mind + Pact of Negation ), (Elixir of Immortality + any successful, sustainable lockout = they deck themselves), (True-Name Nemesis/ Consecrated Sphinx beats)

I'm interested in upgrades: Cards that do similar things but more efficiently, for less mana, and/or do two things at once . A spicy, similarly minded 2-card combo is always welcome.
