General tactics:

While the Elementals aren't quite as tribal as say Silvers, the more recent sets have made them much more fun to use. Adding Thassa to the mix allows for such fun as triggering Omnath's ETB effect each end step (when not getting rid of other effects), and there are enough counters and proliferates that you could theoretically actually get Simic Ascendancy to win. (I know there's a lot of love for Pinnacle Helix, but it also is a BIG target.)

Notes:

This came out of an Arena deck I wound up building, loving, and deciding to make in a Physical EDH deck. I know folks have suggested adding Cavalier of Thorns and Cavalier of Flame, but the mana and actual physical cost makes my a bit leary. Particularly Flame, since we're trying to keep lands on the field, not in the GY. I'm not averse to switching up instants and sorceries, so suggestions are always welcomed.
