Thunderdome is all about forcing everyone to attack all the time. There are must attack effects like Thantis, the Warweaver, goad effects like Grenzo, Havoc Raiser, and attack encouragement like Charging Cinderhorn. There are several ways to force everyone to block as well. You also have Gravity Well to make sure no one is above the Thunderdome.

To make sure your creatures survive when you are forcing yourself to attack you make them indestructible(Angelic Guardian), give them first strike and/or deathtouch(Ankle Shanker), or just get them really big with +1/+1 counters(Gleam of Battle). Most all buffs you give to your creatures are triggered by attacking.

The deck can have significant life gain with Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder and Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper out, so it can survive just taking hits to the face if you don't want to block. There are also more defensive cards like Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs to give you blockers, and Serra's Guardian to give you vigilance.

Boardwipes can be very detrimental as this deck can become self defeating when behind, as slow rebuilding will result in you attacking with your creatures before you get your support mechanisms back in place. So this deck has several ways to get around this, first is to prevent your stuff from dying with Heroic Intervention or getting them back with Garna, the Bloodflame, second is rapid rebuilding with Genesis Storm or Selvala's Stampede.

An alternate commander you can use is Saskia the Unyielding, which while give you significant damage output especially when combined with Gratuitous Violence and a double strike source.
