This is a change on the the splinter twin combo. This version of the deck uses cards like Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtseize to stifle your opponents in the opening turns and clear the way for the Deceiver Exarch + Splinter Twin . Add counters like Remand and Cryptic Command to help keep the board clear and cycle through your library to find the combo; To help you find the combo most cards in the deck come along with the ability to cycle which allows you to play a reactive control deck that can find combo pieces by simply playing your spells.

A major benefit of playing black over other colors is your get better sideboard cards. First off Slaughter Games is an a one shot one kill against other combo decks like other splinter twin and Scapeshift decks. Secondly Rakdos Charm is very good against Tarmogoyf and affinity. Anger of the Gods is another card that is good aggro or zoo type decks. Finally you have a copy of Batterskull and Keranos, God of Storms for the control matchups.
