This here is K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, and he is an absolute beast. Now a lot of people seem to be playing this dude incorrectly. He is made to storm out and either win or get early value in the path to success. so lets talk a bit about the different engines we got going in this.

• Obviously we have K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth now you wanna get this due out early and start dropping spells fast. With this sort of commander you gotta take the Phyrexian approach and look at life as a resource. With Commander, this is perfect.
• Aetherflux Reservoir is a next piece. Now you can storm out without this beauty but it definitely is helpful to have it or its weaker brother Demon's Horn out when you're using your life to cast everything. The deck hopes to rocket off before opponents get going too far but its good to have the gain going. In addition to gaining you life Aetherflux Reservoir also works as a target for your opponent's removal spells. it sucks to lose it but is nicer to keep your boy out there.
• Vilis, Broker of Blood is another body that is incredibly helpful. With your commander out, your able to pay wither a and 2 life or simply 4 life to give something -1/-1, which sounds dumb until Vilis' static ability pops and you're also drawing 2 or 4 cards. With the design to storm out and drop value after value on the board this dude is indispensable.
• while K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth is great at making symbols turn to simple life pay, the can hurt us and we need a way to help lessen these. Enter Jet Medallion. This little 2 drop helps us start dropping spells fast and early.
• While on the topic of artifacts, in the deck we're playing a load of different mana rocks to get the game off right. obviously we have Sol Ring, but also included is Mana Vault. if both of these gadgets are in the opening hand we can cast our commander as early as turn 1. In addition we're playing XXX other rocks to try and help us as we get into the end of early game and late game. (Sometimes it works nicer to feign being nonthreatening early if people don't know the deck)
• Another huge artifact to drop is Bolas's Citadel. This baby lets us cast the top spell of our library for the simple payment of life. this helps us get more value out, trigger Aetherflux Reservoir, etc
• So you're getting stuff out, but you're losing life. How can you make that life loss (assuming Vilis, Broker of Blood isn't out) turn into value? You use Font of Agonies. I can't tell you how many times having this out early has won me a game. You're paying life practically every turn to drop your spells and each life you spend you put a counter on this enchantment. Then for (and no ??? why make this so good Wizards??) you remove four of those counters and you destroy a creature. I've had people drop their commander giving a huge board presence while I had K-man out. Dropped this, cast a sign in blood, and then simply used the counters to shoot down their commander, the card is that solid and worth being tutored for even before it seems valuable. And again, becomes another target to distract from our commander
• Another piece of the puzzle worth mentioning is Crypt Ghast. This guy practically doubles our mana ( like a permanent Bubbling Muck) and, in addition, allows us to extort out opponents every time we play a spell. Extort may not seem huge in commander but lets look at what it does with this deck. With our Commander out, we can pay 2 life to do the extort. In traditional commander, there'll be 2 opponents. So for 2 life, each opponent will take a life and you'll be gaining 3. This dude net's you a life for every spell you play! Okay now lets review:

  Lifegaining

  We have: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Aetherflux Reservoir, Exsanguinate, Demon's Horn, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Corrupt, the extort from Basilica Screecher and Crypt Ghast, Tendrils of Agony, Consume Spirit, Pharika's Cure, Noxious Gearhulk, and hopefully this never is the case Tree of Perdition.

  Card Draw

  Vilis, Broker of Blood, Phyrexian Arena, Sign in Blood, Night's Whisper, Bolas's Citadel (kind of), Castle Locthwain, Forever Young, Cremate, Aphotic Wisps, Nighthaze, Erebos, God of the Dead, Mikokoro, Center of the Sea, Ransack the Lab (kind of), Necropotence, And the tutoring gems of Demonic Tutor & its newly reprinted little brother Grim Tutor.

  Bombs and Hidden Gems

  Chainer, Dementia Master, Maze of Ith, Strip Mine, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Hex Parasite love PW and general counters' hate, Tainted Strike a hidden infect out is pretty great , Magus of the Will best thing to do in storm is to play your graveyard too, Torment of Hailfire (dropping one of these early really resets your opponent's board), Plague Engineer stops pesky little tokens, Royal Assassin discourages attacking, Sudden Spoiling, Darkness (fog, FTW), Sheoldred, Whispering One (even if we never get a creature back, it disrupts boards), Defense Grid (limits countering of our spells).
