So this is the deck that I thought I would take this first week, since I had a lot of it lying around and was also inspired by Ross Merriam at Star City Games with his Naya Tokens Build.

I wanted to see what an Abzan shell would look like. The deck itself seems alright but could be better still. The closet thing to Heroic Reinforcements I could find decently was Rite of Belzenlok. I also thought it would be nice to give it a chance in the new format to see if it can do well.

I ended up dropping a lot of the creature base except for Venerated Loxodon (pumps the team), Shanna, Sisay's Legacy (gets buff by the team), and Emmara, Soul of the Accord (creates the team). Instead I replaced them with Vraska, Golgari Queen and Vraska, Relic Seeker, since both can win games on their own and the deck will be able to protect them on the ground, as well as Assassin's Trophy.

For the sideboard I took out a lot for the answers in black like Duress and Plaguecrafter. Plaguecrafter might seem like an odd pick but it can deal with control by making them sac their planeswalker, or against a stompy deck might be able to make them sac something big at the right time. It also isn't a downside to sac as you can trad in a 1/1 for a 3/2 essentially.

Overall there will be changes made after this opening week to the deck, until then I just have to wait and see.
