Hi all! This is my Glissa, the Traitor artifact recursion and discard deck. It's still kind of "in the works" so it's not as focused as my other decks. Thus far I've just crammed the deck with artifacts and it'll get better over time.

Thus far the discard theme has proven unpopular, but it's probably unpopular because it's really powerful. There are natural synergies between cards that are good in discard strategies. Nath of the Gilt-Leaf + Sadistic Hypnotist causes all your opponents to drop their hands, and Words of Waste + Geth's Grimoire does the same thing but you draw a bunch of cards as well.

When you're running discard it's nice to take advantage of people discarding their bombs. Things like Sepulchral Primordial and Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni allow you to do this. It's also good to have recursive creatures yourself for when you cause yourself to discard; Bloodghast and Reassembling Skeleton are the poster-boys for this, and they're both great with Skullclamp.

The meat and potatoes of this deck is the artifacts. The main thing is to get options from the artifacts. This is my only green deck where I'll run artifact mana. That's because they can be recurred very easily when you use their other functons. For instance; Mind Stone and Golgari Cluestone can draw you cards, and then you can get them back. Also I love Sorcerer's Strongbox, cause I love flipping coins. Its not good, so if you like winning and dislike fun don't use it. Things like Golgari Keyrune can be animated and used as an awesome blocker with deathtouch.

Speaking of deathtouch; Glissa has deathtouch! This is fantastic for taking down opponents' creatures. Using Viridian Longbow, Pathway Arrows, or Thornbite Staff to shoot down creatures is always satisfying. Other than that, suit up with a Bonehoard or Argentum Armor and go to town.
