Basically, this deck was my idea for a controlled burn of the opponent's life, along with a fair, albeit hefty, lifegain. In addition mass creature control between Archfiend of Depravity and Sorin, allows me to keep the opponent's creatures to a minimum.
Archfiend lets me keep the number of creatures they have to two, and sorin can drop that to a mere one if i can get his ult off.
In terms of lifeloss/gain, I have palace sieges, which cause them to lose two and I to gain two. In addition the Brutal Hordechief does a similar effect, except it does it for each creature I have attacking, which quickly adds up. It even helps me with big creature removal by allowing me to force a large creature to block a 1/1 deathtoucher.
The grey merchants have the same effect as an incoming devotion card, which lets me get a big hit off if I have
Lot of cheap blockers, Sunbond to try and take advantage of the lifegain. I have some flyers as well.
Sideboard to deal with enchantment/artifact heavy deck, plus some more creature removal, and even a one sided global nuke.
Bit slow for my tastes, but seems like a decent deck to me.
