Berlin, Germany ~1945

With Russia on Nazi Germany's doorstep to the East and the Americans to the West, the 3rd Reich is scrambling to fast track an experimental weapons system aimed at bringing a swift end to the war. It was well known at this point that the Americans were only months away from developing the first atomic bomb. However, little did the Allies know, Germany was also within reach of harvesting the power of the atom. Colonel Hanz Von Derwinkle, chief scientist and engineer of project Hello, Goodbye, was on the verge of changing history forever. While the Americans wanted to use the atom bomb on its enemies, Germany wanted to use the atom bomb on itself. They sought to accomplish this by developing a new technology termed phasing. In short, Colonel Hanz Von Derwnikle believed the best way to win the war would be lure Allied forces into Germany, Phase all of Germany people and forces out of existence, and then drop multiple atomic bombs at multiple locations. After the destruction of the allies, Germany would be phased back in with the war won.

To achieve this win con, my deck aims to crowd the board with creatures capable of phasing. In addition to this, I will pair them with Portcullis. With Portcullis on the board, my opponents creature drops will be severely limited while allowing me to still crowd the board with my own creatures. In the meantime, the drop of Taniwha will also allow all my lands to phase out as well. With everything I own being phased, its time to drop some bombs. Upheaval, Nevinyrral's Disk, and Worldslayer will give me solid board wipes of opponents permanents while not affecting my permanents that are phased out.
