The idea here is a BUDGET deck that uses scry to dig for what I need and kill with Flamespeaker Adept . I've basically made a scry toolbox, but I'm sure this can be better, so please help me out. I'm looking to build the best possible deck I can, because I really identify with the Izzet League, and I'd like for this to be my cornerstone deck, my go-to for casual fun. I'd like to keep it under $80 if possible. Here's the card-by-bard rundown:

Creatures:

Flamespeaker Adept : The pivotal card of the deck, win-con, and all-around ridiculously strong creature. Not only does she get +2/+0 with each scry, but she gets First Strike! How is that fair? Obviously I make my personal quest to be scrying as much as I can in a turn to not only juice her up, but stack my deck against you.

Cryptic Annelid - This guy scrys up to 6 cards, 10% of the deck, AND he does so in 3 bursts, powering up the Flamespeaker +6/+0. Also a solid blocker with 1/4 and a target for Oracle's Insight .

Augury Owl - A 1/1 flier, chump-block friendly, and a source of scry 3. Handy and cheap, digs nice and deep.

Sigiled Starfish - It's a solid wall of sorts and a free scry every turn. In a pinch, he can be juiced with Titan's Strength for a 3/4 swinger.

Prescient Chimera - It's a 3/4 flier for regular damage and a solid blocker, and he also doubles the scrying generated by instants and sorceries. What's not to like (besides that CMC)?

Thassa, God of the Sea - This card is practically made for this deck. She is an indestructible 5/5 creature, she scrys every turn, and she can make creatures unblockable.

Goblin Electromancer - Makes those pricey Foresee and Voyage's End spells cheaper while upping the devotion count for Thassa.

Enchantments:

Aqueous Form - Unblockable and Scry. Used to enchant Flamespeakers for maximum damage output.

Oracle's Insight - Renewable scry/draw. Targets Augury Owl and the like once they've finished their trigger. (NOT Sigiled Starfish , since it's a waste)

Instants/Sorceries:

Serum Visions - Draw + Scry. Very useful for getting a crucial card on the cheap.

Foresee - A higher CMC, juiced up Serum Visions that can be made cheaper by Goblin Electromancer.

Titan's Strength - Arguably the strongest non-creature spell. It powers up the Flamespeaker by +5/+1 dues to its scry.

Voyage's End - Much more versatile than it looks. It can clear the path for when my Flamespeakers aren't unblockable and can target my own creatures like Cryptic Annelid to double up on those "enters the battlefield" triggers. Als I use this to save Flamespeakers from things like Go for the Throat as well as negative enchantments like Singing Bell Strike or Oblivion Ring

It should be noted that while it seems kind of overly scry-oriented, the mechanic actually lets me stack my deck against my opponent, so topdecking isn't really a thing and every draw step is fruitful.

This deck was loosely inspired by Scry this noble, a Noble deck by Frytrix99.
