This deck is heavily based on Fight to the Deathtouch Standard (AKH), with my minor edits from rotation. However I certainly do not take credit for the deck. I just really liked the idea of it so I decided to update it a bit for the new standard. And hey, with all these big dinosaurs around it wouldn't be too bad to have some deathtouch on your side.

Basically, this deck wants to play a lot of deathtouch creatures and use one sided fight effects like Ambuscade and Nature's Way to take down your opponents creatures and swing in with your own. These fight effects work exceptionally well with Rhonas the Indomitable as you can still kill things without having to make him able to attack/block. Supernatural Stamina adds value to swinging in your creatures into huge threats, or when blocking to keep your creature alive. Verdurous Gearhulk while not having deathtouch is just a really good green card and there isn't much of a reason to not have him in here.

Sideboard is has discard for control, Lost Legacy for stripping a value piece from any deck, (Winding Constrictor, Hazoret the Fervent, Approach of the Second Sun etc.) Graveyard hate for God Pharaohs Gift and decks with The Scarab God, and finally 2 Vraska's Contempt to deal with pesky Hazorets and other Gods we don't like.

Took this to FNM 2 weeks now, both times its gotten me in the top 3.

Its honestly been about equal to top tier decks present in my meta. Ramunap red we do fairly well against (just need a fast start, our creatures block really well), similar with Temur energy.

U/B cycling and U/B control were present and the games I played went fairly well when I could close out the game early. Once it got to the very lategame though, both of those decks got too much value, and won because of the massive amount of value. Post-board things got better for me with multiple discard options/ Lost Legacy for their most annoying cards (usually Scarab God)

The deck impressed me, with it consistently doing what it's supposed to do: fight to the death and getting in for the kill. The showings prove what I expected from this deck; its pretty good against aggro/mid-range but struggles against control and doesn't generate enough value for the very late game. I doubt I could make any changes to mitigate this, as intrinsically the game plan is weak to control.

If anyone else decides to make this deck let me know how you guys do when you play with it!
